Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Labelr: Label & Sticker Maker ("Labelr," "we," "us," or "our") handles information when you use our iPhone and iPad app, website, and related services. Labelr helps you design and print custom labels, stickers, tags, QR codes, barcodes, address labels, packaging labels, jar labels, gift labels, and small business branding materials.

Information We Collect

We aim to collect only the information needed to operate, improve, and support Labelr. Depending on the features you use, this may include:

  • Usage data: information about product interaction, such as app screens or features used, template interactions, export actions, and other general app activity.
  • Diagnostics: crash data, performance data, and technical logs used to identify bugs and improve reliability.
  • Design content you choose to use: text, photos, logos, shapes, QR code content, barcode values, and other elements you add while creating a label or sticker.
  • Purchase information: subscription or in-app purchase status handled through Apple. We do not receive your full payment card details from Apple.
  • Support communications: information you provide when you contact us, such as your email address, message content, screenshots, and device or app details you choose to share.

Photos, Logos, QR Codes, and Barcodes

Labelr may ask for access to your photo library when you choose to import photos or logos into a design. We use selected images only to provide the editing, preview, export, and printing features you request. QR code and barcode values are used to generate the codes you add to your designs.

You are responsible for the text, images, logos, QR code content, barcode values, and other materials you add to your designs. Please avoid including sensitive personal information unless it is necessary for your label.

How We Use Information

We use information to:

  • Provide label, sticker, tag, QR code, barcode, export, and printing features.
  • Save, restore, and edit your designs when those features are available.
  • Process app functionality and in-app purchase access.
  • Understand how people use Labelr and improve the app experience.
  • Detect, troubleshoot, and fix crashes, bugs, and performance issues.
  • Respond to support requests and user feedback.
  • Comply with legal, platform, tax, accounting, and security obligations.

Analytics and Diagnostics

Labelr may collect usage data and diagnostics that are not linked to your identity. This may include product interaction data for analytics and app functionality, and crash data for diagnostics. We use this information to improve performance, fix problems, and understand which features are useful.

In-App Purchases and Subscriptions

Labelr offers in-app purchases and subscriptions through Apple. Apple processes payments and manages billing information under Apple's own terms and privacy practices. We may receive limited purchase status information, such as whether you have access to a paid feature, label pack, or subscription.

Printing and Exporting

Labelr lets you export designs as files such as PDF, PNG, or JPEG and print them through supported printing options, including iOS printing features. Files you export, print, save, send, or share are controlled by you and may be handled by your device, printer, cloud storage, email app, or other third-party services you choose to use.

Sharing Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited information only when needed to operate Labelr, provide analytics and diagnostics, process purchases through Apple, respond to your support requests, comply with law, protect rights and security, or complete a business transfer such as a merger, acquisition, or asset sale.

Data Retention

We keep information only for as long as needed for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. Support emails may be retained so we can respond to your request and maintain business records.

Children's Privacy

Labelr is rated 4+ on the App Store, but it is not directed to children for the purpose of collecting personal information. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
